Admissions process

SIGNIFICANT COMMITTMENT
of resources needed for the program means prospective students are carefully advised before they apply for admission.

The following materials must be received before an admission decision can be made:

1. Completed online application to the College of Graduate Studies for FALL 2011 and Beyond. This includes a $45 application fee which may be paid on-line via credit card. Click the Apply Now button.
3. Official GMAT scores (if required) sent to the UNO Office of Graduate Studies, 6001 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE 68182.
5. Two official transcripts sent to the UNO Office of Graduate Studies, 6001 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE 68182. Transcripts are required from EACH college or university attended whether you received a degree from the institution or not. We recommend you request them well in advance of the application deadline, as they normally take up to three weeks to be delivered.
7. Current resume detailing employment history, nature of duties and responsibilities, accomplishments, leadership roles, and community involvement.
9. Written Statement of Objectives in undertaking a graduate education program. This personal statement should address the following:
   • What are your career objectives and how will a UNO Executive MBA assist you in attaining them?
   • Discuss your most outstanding personal and professional accomplishments.
   • What is the most significant strength that you bring to a workforce team and why?

• Three letters of recommendation: one from your current employer and two from non-family members who can attest to your personal character. If you are self-employed, a letter from a current or former business associate is acceptable. Letters should address your intellectual abilities, professional achievements, and potential for increased management responsibilities.
• Immunization Records Copy: Proof of 2 MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) shots
• Interviews: All applicants are required to participate in an interview with the Executive MBA Director and an interview with an alumni panel. Interviews will only be scheduled after all other items on the checklist are complete.
• $1000 deposit: Required to hold your seat in the program once you have been accepted. Will be applied to your first invoice.
