Boot Camp
The EMBA Boot Camp reintroduces students to academic study and provides a leveling foundation knowledge in the core business disciplines.
EXECUTIVE MBA STUDENTS
on the average have not been in a university classroom in over 16 years. Typically, 70% of the students have other than business related undergraduate degrees.
The Executive MBA Boot Camp is a non-credit prequel to the Executive MBA program curriculum that will take you back to the business basics. If you don't have a business degree, don't worry about having to take prerequisite business courses before entering the program. The purpose of Boot Camp is to give you the foundational knowledge that you need to successfully perform in the core business disciplines. This gets you and your classmates on the same page before you even step foot into the classroom. This also permits Executive MBA faculty to spend less time going over fundamentals and more time on information that is immediately applicable to your job.
Currently, 23 of the U.S. News and World Report Top 50 Business Schools use these modules as do 35 Executive MBA programs. This is your first step through a journey of higher learning, personal growth and professional development.
Core Business Disciplines Covered:

"The Executive MBA offered a tremendous niche for me as an entrepreneur. I wanted to take the company to higher levels of success in the future and I needed to be smarter to do that ... I've been able to parlay a lot of improvement processes we studied by translating them into the service industry. I've also developed a greater understanding of the financial and accounting side of not only our business, but our clients' operations."
